Day trip to Cheshire Oaks retail therapy

Assaalamualaikum,

I wish everyone a good holiday and the very best for the upcoming exams. I have here a trip for the 17th January 2009, Saturday. Everyone should be finished with their exams and assessments for semester one right. Due to the nature of this trip please reply to Zaki (livingsun@hotmail.com) to book for this trip and it would be on a first come first serve basis.

The cost will be £15 for adults, children half-price, under-5's ride free.

The coach will leave 8.45am to Cheshire Oaks and leave for Bradford 5pm. It would take us about 1hr 30mins to get there depending on weather and traffic. The coach will be fully insured including a driver.

A Brief Message from the President

Assalamualaikum to members of BruBrad and to all Bruneian students wherever you are~

It's already (or almost) time to for UK's Christmas break... Some of you maybe planning to return back home and mend those home sickness, some plans going to see the "world", and some might just decide to stay put (have fun shopping during boxing day)!. Well what ever you are planning to do, all the best and have fun (but not too much that it'll affect your study)!

Me, I'm off to see the world (part of it anyway)~ Hope to see you all again next year. We will definitely have a few exciting trip when next year come. Maybe even get our jersey ready by then... Of course some of you will probably have exams/assignments to do early of the year, but don't let that stop you from having a good time and good luck with everything you do!

Aidil Adha Gathering

BruBrad is having an Aidil Adha gathering this Sunday. Detail is as follow:

Venue: Lister Mills (Abg Beck, Abg Maris and Abg Wadi's place)

Date: 7th December 2008.

Time: 3pm - Till late well not too late as some has exams the next day

There will be sembahyang jemaah magrib sama sembahyang hajat, doa selamat, takbir raya aidil adha. This will be the last get together for this year.

As for the menu:

Daging/Ayam rendang;

Daging/Ayam curry;

Nasi secukup2 nya

Mee goreng (halus atau yg tabal)

NOTE: This is not the complete menu, please reply what you intend to bring. So we could coordinate accordingly.

As the plan is for everyone to bring some food, drinks, desserts, lates, paper/plastic cups, forks, spoons.We would like to divide these tasks so that everyone has a clear idea what to bring for the day. As for information, you don't have to bring a lot (there is no need to cook for all), semampu-mampu nya sja.
